Part three of our Wakeboarding blog is dedicated to the filming of our upcoming release, “Ride the River : Return of Los Tres Diablos”. It was filmed this past weekend at a spot known to a few…and we will keep it that way. As a wakeboarder you tend to be very possessive of your “Secret Spot”. To not have to deal with other boats and riders is a blessing when you can find it, so we will jealously guard all of our spots. Suffice it to say that it was filmed on a river somewhere in Texas. I hate getting hurt. Period. I broke my hip a few years ago and had extensive therapy to recover so, now when I am damaged it brings back bad memories (mostly for my wife who had to take care of my broke butt). Needless to say that when you are jumping 6-15 feet in the air and launching 20-30 feet or more across the wake at speeds of 20-25 mph…injuries happen. Read more
